Ballona Creek runs along the back of Farragut Public school where I walk quite a bit alongside the fences noticing the plants and their spacial relationship to the outside of the yard.
Since my near death experience, I’m inclined to relate more to plants than to people, for a number of reasons but especially since at the time of my disappearance, plants were a source of great support and no people shared the Mojave with me.
Along this path there is an elevated terrace outside the schoolyard which features the plants I relate to along the way, and in the past decade more and more Coyote bushes have taken over the terrace, one close to the my walk. I consider that a plus. Anything of Coyote is wonderful, unless it eats my cat Mia. Being a desert survivor plant is key to my attraction
